Middle School Bands

5th/6th Grade Band

Our 5th and 6th grade bands provide students with a fun and supportive introduction to instrumental music. Students learn the fundamentals of playing their chosen instrument, reading music, and performing together as a team. With regular rehearsals and exciting performance opportunities, our young musicians build confidence, discipline, and a love for music that lasts for years to come.

7th/8th Grade Band

Our 7th and 8th grade band serves as a dynamic and challenging next step for developing musicians. Students strengthen their technical skills, musical expression, and ensemble performance through a variety of repertoire and events. With a focus on leadership, responsibility, and preparation for high school band, this group lays the groundwork for continued success in music and beyond.

7th/8th Grade Jazz Bands

Our 7th and 8th-grade jazz bands offer students an exciting opportunity to explore jazz, swing, blues, and Latin styles in a fun and creative setting. Students learn the fundamentals of improvisation, jazz phrasing, and ensemble playing while performing in our quarterly concerts.

Cadet Guard

Our Cadet Guard program is a vibrant introduction to the world of color guard for middle school students. Cadet Guard teaches foundational skills in dance, flag, and equipment work in a fun, team-focused environment. Cadet Guard members build confidence, coordination, and performance skills while preparing for future participation in the high school program.
